I am so glad you here.. Few things about me... I am 36, married, and have one son. I have a wonderful family and friends that I hold dear... I work full-time, teach sometimes at a local college, and do some crafting on the side. This blog will have a little of everything...journey through weight-loss surgery (which is ongoing), scrapping, thrifting, sewing, recipes, and life in general.

- worked as a tour guide at Tuckaleechee Caverns for a summer and met my husband there
- two amazing sisters..Rae Rae and Anne (I am the one in the middle)
- would love to go to Italy, Ireland, and Austria
- like to shop at flea markets/farmer markets/antique and thrift shops
- really think I was born to late...I could really see flowers in my hair
- makes my heart happy that my 11 year old still wants "lovin" from his mommy
- favorite music - 60s and 70s - they tell a story
- like to send cards to family and friends - much more personal
- would love to take a pottery class
- always wanted to open up a Diner
